Sandy Blinn
Owner
Sandy earned a degree in education from Central Connecticut State University and has over 25 years experience in the in-home care field. She has creatively blended these attributes and designed an intriguing training seminar for caregivers. Drawing from her experience as both a caregiver and working with in-home care agencies, she combines a sense of humor and actual scenarios to accentuate the do’s and dont’s of caregiving, delivering an overall boost in morals, ethics and common sense of caregiving.
Sharon Alderman
Hiring Manager
Sharon has an A.S. Degree with a focus on sociology, physiology, and psychology of aging, and 40 years of experience in the care-giving profession.
Her care-giving career began at an early age when her beloved sister became quadriplegic; she felt privileged to devote her energy to supporting and caring for her. She evolved with the profession, and though much has changed in social and medical frameworks for the elderly, she believes that the core values of compassionate, respectful and thoughtful care remains the same.
She has a deep capacity for understanding human needs, and likes to apply this skill to match caregiver with clients for the mutual benefit and growth of both.
She is eager to meet and talk with you about the specific needs of your family member.
“I have had caregivers from Uplifting Elderly Home Care for over a year. Sandy, the owner works with me to provide just the right caregivers for my needs. She also gives her personal time to help me in many ways. She is a very caring person. The caregivers she sends me are caring, courteous, helpful and outgoing. I would highly recommend Uplifting Elderly Home Care”
